Betsy DeVos is an education reformer I have known about since she brought her school choice and voucher programs to Florida a number of years ago in a bid to make sure the state took advantage of the latest developments in educational options for parents. In conducting my own research into the work of Betsy DeVos I was happy to read she has been seeking new and interesting ways of addressing the inequalities that can be found in a single school district based upon the zip code of the family of an individual student; I myself agree with now Secretary of Education DeVos in her aim to remove the issue of zip code bias holding back some students from achieving as much as possible during their time in the U.S. public school system. I do not believe any of us can confidently look at ourselves and not feel leaving behind a number of students because they happen to be zoned for a particular school within a district.

If we are not to take the major step of improving each and every school in the U.S. we must loom for different ways of allowing students to thrive within the existing system, which I feel Betsy DeVos is looking to do by developing the options presented by the U.S. public school system in terms of school choice and school voucher systems. The dedication shown by Betsy DeVos has been in place since her early days as the daughter of a public school teacher in Holland, Michigan that led to her becoming an in school advocates for at risk students across her home state. My admiration for Betsy DeVos was increased even further when I discovered she had spent much of her own funds to publicize the latest school choice and voucher programs being established by states across the U.S. for the benefit of students from all backgrounds.
Betsy DeVos is not only a well known education reformer and administrator, but I believe her entire philanthropic and business career has assisted in allowing her to take up her U.S. Education Department position in a way I feel she will be a great success in. Two organizations have taken up the philanthropic and business mantle for the Calvin College graduate in the shape of the Dick and Betsy DeVos Foundation and The Windquest group; I took a close look at the work of the investment side of the work of Betsy DeVos that takes place under The Windquest Group banner. I believe Betsy DeVos has been working towards creating a business that works within her own moral values, which are reflected in the investments made in green energy resources and boxed water for disaster relief efforts. Everybody knows that medicine is one of the most complex professions in our society. Doctors are required to train for many years just to become proficient in the basics of learning how to properly and effectively heal the human body. Anyone who has been a patient at a hospital knows that being a doctor or a nurse requires someone to balance a wide variety of skills and to be able to think quickly. Perhaps the only thing that is more complicated than working as a medical practitioner is working in the overarching field of which medicine is just a single component: a healthcare system. Healthcare systems are made up of doctors, nurses, specialists, hospitals, community clinics, government agencies that are focused on health, insurance providers, the pharmaceutical industry and many other components that are far too numerous to be named. Coordinating the delivery of quality healthcare to a patient that needs it requires much more than just a doctor and a hospital. It requires a vanguard of management executives that can make all of these separate parts from medical practitioner and to pharmaceutical drug manufacturer all come together in a way that results in a healthier population. That is where organizations like InnovaCare Health come in. View her infographic resume at Vizualize.me
